Thank you
In August 2012 we started the journey of fundraising hoping to give Alana life changing surgery to correct her hearing loss and correct the outer ear. In the following four months, we were able to raise $54,000 with the help of our community, the city of Bundaberg, but not with our some hiccups along the way. Alana's mum and my wife Emma became ill in November and when the hospital flew her to Brisbane, specialist realised she had suffered a stroke, after three weeks in hospital and a few set backs Emma continued the fundraising by attending the concert held for Alana, where musician who wrote a "Song 4 Alana" performed.
We understand after the floods and tornadoes that occurred in January, that our town needs to repair and rebuild, but would like to thank everyone in for the support they have given.
We had major support from the local newspaper The Bundaberg NewsMail and radio station Hitz939FM and we are very grateful.
I would like to thank every one who has been involved with helping us throughout the last six months.

THANK YOU BUNDABERG!!
We would like to thank the Bundaberg and surrounds communities who have helped us raise over half of the money needed to help our little girl receive the gift of hearing.
We know it has been tough times since the floods struck in January 2013 and as our town rebuilds we have decided there are people who need the support of our community more at this time.
